Many clients do not have the time or energy to sort every item, but they still care about where their collection goes. We combine honest resale value with convenient removal so useful media gets a better chance at another home.

before we arrive.
Do I need to sort everything first?
No. A general description of the collection and the approximate number of boxes is enough to get started. If you choose an appraisal, we’ll arrange a convenient day to review the items with you.
How should I pack for a boxed pickup?
Use liquor-store boxes, Home Depot small moving boxes, or other boxes of a similar size. Strong containers or reusable bags are also suitable. Keep each box under 40 lb and place everything at the agreed pickup point.
Can you remove items from a basement or apartment?
Yes. A fee applies for basements, stairs, upper floors, or other hard-to-access locations. Ask us for details. For apartment pickups, please arrange a buzz code and visitor parking.
What happens to the media you collect?
We work to find new homes for usable items through resale and donation. Resale helps support the pickup service and keeps more media in circulation.
Is Barcodes Media a charity?
No. We are a media reuse and removal business. We do, however, work with charities, churches, thrift stores, schools, and other community organizations.
